Anticipating visit by Karnataka Chief Minister: Urgent push for project completion in Kodagu


Madikeri:  Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is expected to visit Kodagu very soon according to the Minister in charge of Kodagu district N.S. Boseraju.


During a meeting on January 2, 2024, in Madikeri, Mr. Boseraju instructed district officials to expedite projects like the Bhagamandala bridge, Suvarna Karnataka Bhavan, and Kodava Heritage Centre, as Mr. Siddaramaiah is anticipated to visit Kodagu soon.


Elected representatives expressed their discontent with the delayed completion of these projects in the meeting. The Minister addressed officials, and said, 'If there are any issues with the works, bring them to the government's attention. Necessary actions at the government level will be taken care of, including the release of grants. The pending works must be completed soon."


MLAs Mantar Gowda and A.S. Ponnanna, along with MLC Suja Kushalappa, voiced their dissatisfaction with the project delays and urged for their prompt completion.
