Bus Stranded as Karnataka-Kerala Highway Collapse in Kodagu

The road collapse has severely impacted the movement of vehicles.

Kutta: A private bus became stranded on the Karnataka-Kerala state highway due to a recent collapse of the road leading from Srimangala to Kutta. The collapse, which occurred a few days ago following heavy rains in Kodagu district, had initially restricted traffic to one side of the road. 

However, on Friday, the remaining open stretch was also affected as repairs were underway, leading to a complete closure of this crucial route. The road collapse has severely impacted the movement of vehicles, causing disruptions for both local commuters and travelers between Karnataka and Kerala.

A private bus became stranded on the Karnataka-Kerala state highway due to a recent collapse of the road.

Local authorities are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible, but with the road completely shut down, there is no clear estimate for when traffic will be able to resume, according to officials.  In the meantime, motorists are advised to seek alternative routes and anticipate significant delays.
