Bengaluru: According to Dr. N. Puviarasan, Scientist and Head of the Meteorological Centre in Bengaluru, a press release on Friday noted that strong wind convergence is observed along Coastal Karnataka and adjacent Western Ghats districts, affecting weather conditions throughout the region.

Forecast & Rainfall Warning for the Next Two Days:

• Day 1 (02.08.2024): Kodagu is expected to experience isolated heavy rain along with sustained wind speeds of 30-40 kmph. The intensity of the rain may vary, with heavy downpours possible.

• Day 2 (03.08.2024): Light to moderate rain and sustained wind speed (30-40 kmph) very likely.
