German Delegation Visits Coorg Institute of Dental Sciences, Launches Collaborative Projects

A German delegation recently visited the Coorg Institute of Dental Sciences in Virajpet, Kodagu.

Virajpet: A German delegation recently visited the Coorg Institute of Dental Sciences in Virajpet as part of a scientific and teaching exchange agreement between the college and the International Orthodontic Society.

The institute, which is celebrating its silver jubilee, released a statement noting that the delegation included John V. Raiman, Vice President of the International Orthodontic Society of Hanover, and Aladdin Sabagh, an orthodontist and maxillofacial surgeon known for inventing advanced repositioning appliances.

During their visit, the delegates delivered a silver jubilee lecture at the institute. Additionally, Sunil Muddaiah and Anmol Kala were appointed as India’s representatives to the Orthodontic Society in Europe.

“The exchange of ideas aimed to foster innovation and progress within India’s orthodontic community. A notable initiative was taken to support newly admitted first-year postgraduate students, with the dignitaries distributing detailed lesson plans to the new batch. Several collaborative projects between the institute and the International Orthodontic Society were also launched during the visit,” the statement added.
