Madikeri: In a thrilling development for cricket enthusiasts in Kodagu, the inaugural season of the Kodava Cricket Premier League (Leather Ball Tournament) is set to kick off in May 2024.
Organized by the Coorg Cricket Foundation, the event promises to be a showcase of talent, skills, and sporting prowess at the General Thimayya Stadium in Madikeri.
Ten formidable teams (Franchisees) are slated to engage in spirited competition, with over 200 players vying for victory in the gentlemen's game. According to the Coorg Cricket Foundation, the tournament serves as a platform for cricketers to exhibit their best performances and elevate their game to new heights in their cricketing careers.
In an inclusive move, the Coorg Cricket Foundation emphasized that any cricketer above the age of 14 is welcome to participate, fostering an environment where aspiring talents can hone their skills and aspire to reach greater heights in the world of cricket.
