Bengaluru: In a major administrative reshuffle, Kodagu native IAS officer Cauvery B.B. has been appointed as the Secretary to Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. The government notification, issued on Saturday, confirmed her new role, succeeding IAS officer Thrilok Chandra K.V.

Cauvery B.B., the outgoing Commissioner for School Education, will now assume the position of Secretary to the Chief Minister and also hold the concurrent charge of Secretary to the Department of Information and Public Relations. This dual responsibility relieves Thrilok Chandra from these roles.

Thrilok Chandra, who was previously serving as the Secretary to the Chief Minister, has been transferred with immediate effect and will now serve as the Commissioner for School Education, Bengaluru, replacing Cauvery B.B.
