Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh: In a thrilling display of skill and teamwork, the Karnataka team, led by seven key players from Kodagu, emerged victorious at the second Hockey India Junior Men's South Zone Championship held in Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh. The finals saw Karnataka defeating Tamil Nadu with a 4-2 scoreline, securing the coveted title of champions.

A notable highlight of the championship was the remarkable performance of Kodagu stars Harshit Kumar M., Bidattanda Bopanna, Bidattanda Akhil, Choyamada Akash Biddappa, Kulleteera Vachan, Thithamada Yashwath, Madeda Achaiah and Hrithik Ayyappa.
