Kundyolanda Hockey Carnival Sets Guinness World Record for Largest Field Hockey Event

Originating in 1996 with just 60 teams, the festival has grown exponentially, boasting over 300 teams participating this year.

Napoklu: The annual Kodava hockey tournament, hosted by the Kodava community in Kodagu, has earned itself a Guinness World Record for being the largest field hockey tournament.

This year, the Kundyolanda Hockey Carnival, organized by the Kundyolanda Family at Gen Thimmaiah Hockey Ground in Napoklu, Kodagu district, secured this prestigious record. 

Originating in 1996 with just 60 teams, the festival has grown exponentially, boasting 360 teams participating this year.
