Virajpet: In an effort to address and resolve public grievances, Ajjikuttira S Ponnanna, the legal advisor to the Chief Minister of Karnataka and the MLA of Virajpet, will host the Jana Spandana programme on June 19 in Virajpet town. The initiative comes as per the directive from Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
The inaugural session of Jana Spandana will take place in Virajpet town, with plans to extend the programme to various locations within the constituency. "We will listen to the grievances faced by the people and resolve them on the spot by directing the concerned officials," Mr. Ponnanna said.
The programme will see the participation of theKodagu Deputy Commissioner, senior officials from the district administration, taluk officials, and village and town muncipal officials. Mr. Ponnanna urged the public to take advantage of this opportunity to address their issues. "I request people to utilize this Jana Spandana programme to resolve their issues by participating in the programme," he added.
Scheduled to commence at 10:30 AM, the Jana Spandana programme for Virajpet town will exclusively cater to the residents of the Virajpet municipal area. Mr. Ponnanna assured that similar sessions will be organized in other parts of the Virajpet constituency in the coming days to ensure comprehensive coverage and resolution of public concerns.
The initiative aims to foster direct communication between the public and the administration, promoting swift resolution of issues, according to Mr Ponnanna.
